Pick-Your-Own Blueberries@Clyde River Berry Farm 採蓝莓记

The berries harvest season starts from early December to end of January.  Since my hubby had been taking time off since Christmas Day, we decided to go to visit a berry farm in South Coast.

This map was provided on the farm's website

We left home at 9am. The map says the journey takes about 3.5hours to get there but due to slow traffic (lots of speed cameras along the way) and a break in between, we arrived the Clyde River Berry Farm at 3pm!

离开Princes Highway大路,还要开最少12公里的沙石路,才到达莓果园。一路上沙滚滚

After leaving the main road, ie Princes Highway, there is still at least 12km of bumpy dusty rocky journey to go.  Look at our car & now look at other visitors’ cars, all covered in dust! We all laughed our hearts out when we saw this!

The young blueberries are green colour, then slowly change to red colour, finally to dark blue colour.

All raspberries were picked by visitors so we could only picked blueberries.

First time of seeing so many bunches of grapes hanging on the vine.  So pretty!

By average, each punnet(125g) is selling for aud$2.

We left the farm at 4.30pm and reached home at 10.00pm after taking a dinner break.
